Breda's Museum

The collection of the Breda’s Museum contains the art and cultural history of the city of Breda and surroundings and of the Diocese of Breda. The large collection of about 65,000 pieces includes fine and applied art of the Late Middle Ages to the present day and a collection on the urban history of Breda on themes such as governance, business and technology and everyday life. A historical topographical atlas is part of the collection: posters, old photos, old prints and cartographic material. Together with the Municipal Archives of Breda it is located in the 100 year old main building of the Chassé barracks.
