Known as Europe’s largest playground, Linnaeushof is a fun amusement park and recreation center located in North Holland’s Bennebroek. What makes the park so unique is its lack of electronics devices and roller coasters. Instead, park visitors enjoy some good old fashioned fun with friends. Linnaeushof opened in 1963 as a playground. Before its opening, it served as a botanical garden that featured a variety of different plants. It was once the work site of the famous Swedish scientist Carolus Linnaeus between 1736 and 1737. Today, the park receives around 300,000 visitors each year.
